RULES:
1. Anyone may enter the following classes except those persons who are professionals in their respective categories. Professionals are those people who derive their living from any category in this division or whose work is shown in professional capacity.
2. Cash prizes and ribbons will be awarded in each classification. At the discretion of the
judges, there may be more than one First, Second or Third prize per class. Prizes are:
1st -- $5.00; 2nd -- $3.00 and 3rd --$2.00
  Grand Champion ($50.00) and Reserve Champion ($25.00) along with a ribbon and trophy will be awarded for the following categories:
- Artwork
- Photography
- Quilts and rugs
- Ceramics & Crafts
- Needlework - includes Knitting, Embroidery, Counted Cross Stitch, Crewel and Needlepoint
3. All exhibits will be accepted only on Monday (week of fair) between the hours of
10:00 AM and 9:00 PM.
No exhibits will be accepted at any other time. ALL
EXHIBITS must remain in place until 8:00 P.M. on Sunday (last day of fair) or prize
money will be forfeited. Premiums less than $10.00 will not be mailed, they must be
picked up in the fair office starting at noon on Sunday.
4. To speed check-in for multiple entries, please bring in self-addressed mailing labels. (Label should not be larger than 2 1/4” x 5/8”)
5.
Exhibitors must have claim tickets to pick up exhibits.
6. Any winning exhibits from the previous year are prohibited.
7. Not responsible for any item lost, damaged or left.
8. The decision of the judges is final.
9. Ages will be noted as to Youth (under 16) or Senior Citizen (over 65). Please remember to note the age when registering

Lemon-Zucchini Loaf with Lemon Glaze
Ingredients  
 
2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup canola oil
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup buttermilk
Juice of 1 lemon
Zest of 1 lemon
1 cup grated zucchini
 
Directions:
 
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease one 9'x5' load pan, set aside.

2. In a large bowl, blend flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.

3. In a medium bowl, beat 2 eggs well, then add oil and sugar, and blend well. Then add buttermilk, lemon juice, lemon zest and blend everything well. Fold in zucchini and stir until evenly distributed in mixture.

4. Add this mixture to the dry ingredients in the large bowl and blend everything together, but don't overmix.

5. Pour batter into prepared 9x5" loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

6. Cool pan for 10 minutes then remove to a wire rack and cool completely

For lemon glaze, in a small bowl, mix 1 cup powdered sugar with the juice from one lemon until well blended. Spoon glaze over cooled loaf.

 
 
 
Open to ages. 3-12
No Bake Pumpkin Oatmeal Cookies (6 to a plate)
Ingredients  
 
3/4 cup quick oats
1/2 cup oat flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 cup canned pumpkin
2 to 2 1/2 teaspoons milk of choice
1 tablespoon oil
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
 
 
Directions:
 
1. Combine all dry ingredients and stir well. In a separate bowl, combine all liquid (including pumpkin). Then stir to combine, and form into balls or cookies. Or put in fridge to firm up a little before forming into cookies.

Coconut and White Chocolate Brownies
 
Hands-on time: 15.mins. to 20 mins.
Baking time: 25 mins. to 30 mins.
Total time: 40 mins. to 60 mins.
Yield: About 2 dozen 2" squares
   
Ingredients  
 
3/4 cup butter, melted
1 1/2 cups brown sugar, lightly packed
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 3/4 cups King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 cups white chocolate chunks or chips
1 cup dried cranberries
1 cup coconut flakes, divided
 
Directions:
 
1) Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9" X 13"pan. To ensure that the bars release from the pan without sticking, line your greased pan with parchment paper and grease the parchment.

2) Combine the butter and sugar in a medium-sized bowl, stirring until smooth.

3) Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla and salt.

4) Combine the flour and baking powder. Add these dry ingredients to the buttersugar mixture, stirring to combine.

5) Fold in the chocolate, cranberries, and half the coconut flakes.

6) Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared pan, sprinkling the remaining coconut evenly over the top.

7) Bake the bars for 25 to 30 minutes, until they're golden brown on the edges and top.

8) Remove the bars from the oven and allow them to cool in the pan before cutting and serving.

Yield: about 2 dozen 2" squares.
