Outdoor Obstacle Course
Ages: 5-8, 9-12
Create and complete your own obstacle course outside! You can use anything found in or around the house to build your course. Once you are ready, have someone record a video of you stating your name, age, and yourself completing the obstacle course. Obstacle courses will be judged based on the most creative/unique.
Indoor Obstacle Course
Ages: 5-8, 9-12
Create and complete your own obstacle course indoors! See submission guidelines under outdoor obstacle course.
Water Balloon Volley Ball
Ages: 17 and under, 18 and older
What can you do with four people, two beach towels, and a water balloon? Play Water Balloon Volley Ball of course! Split up into two teams of two and use the beach towel to toss the water balloon back and forth over a net. Do not have a net, no worries! You can use a table; hold up a sting; clothes line; etc. Record a video of the teams playing volleyball. The team with the top catches wins.
Egg Toss
Ages: 17 and under, 18 and older
Grab a partner and toss that egg! Record a video of you and your partner tossing an egg back and forth. Most caught tosses without breaking the egg wins. Remember, each partner must take one step back after each toss.
Costume Contest
Ages: 1-4, 5-8, 9-12
Use your imagination and dress up for our costume contest. Record a video stating your name, age, and a description of your costume. Most creative wins!
For younger age groups an adult can speak on the child’s behalf
DIY Veggie Race Cars
Ages: 5-8, 9-12
Most creative wins.
Start your vegetables! Build a racecar that rolls mainly out of vegetables (other items can be used sparingly). Record a video stating your name, age, what your car is made out of, and a demonstration of your car rolling. Racecars will be judged based off creativity.
Mooing Contest
Ages: 1-12
What does the cow say? Record a video stating your name, age, and MOO. Best MOOOOOOOO wins!
DIY Cardboard Playhouse/Fort
Ages: 5-8, 9-12
Let’s get building! You can use anything found in or around the house to build your playhouse/fort. Once you are ready, have someone record a video of you stating your name, age, and a quick explanation of your playhouse/fort. Playhouses/forts will be judged based on the most creative/unique.creative/unique. Can use anything found in or around the house.
Watermelon Eating Contest
Ages: 5-8, 9-12
Eat 1/4 of a personal size watermelon for 5-8
Eat 1/2 of personal size watermelon for 9-12
Have someone time you and record a video stating your name, age, eating the watermelon, and at the end show how long it took you to eat the watermelon slice via a stopwatch
Cake Decorating Contest
Ages: 5-8, 9-12
Pre-heat your ovens! Bake and decorate a cake and let your imagination go! Record a video sating your name, age, and what your cake and decoration is. Cakes will be judge on creativity.
