It’s really fantastic to see that the agricultural community is alive and kicking in this state! I really enjoy the tractor pull and the food, the atmosphere is great and it’s a fun time for families.
There’s definitely something for everyone here! My mom and I enjoyed seeing the animals, listening to live music, watching the barrel races, and shopping for fresh fruits, veggies, and jams on our way out. The Del’s Lemonade was also a plus!
This was our first year attending and it was an incredible day. My family loved everything from the rides, to the games, to the foods and especially the animals. We met some great people and my daughter now has her very own bunny and hopes to one day be part of the day herself!
I have been attending the fair since I was a toddler, and I have passed down the tradition to my children! I think I have only missed one year in 37 years! We look forward to it every August! Excellent EVERYTHING!
My boyfriend and I go every year! We love it! He enters his tractor, we love the concerts, trucks pulls and tractor pulls! Great place to go for a whole day of fun! Highly recommend this, even for a whole weekend! The greatest redneck fair ever!
I really love the animals, the tractor pulls, and the enthusiasm of everyone who works in the agricultural industry here in Rhode Island. The food was pretty good too. I’d love to see more educational booths that are specific to the agriculture of the area though. The Rhode Island Farm Bureau will be getting a donation from me this year. I love my farmers!
The food, music, and of course the rides are always a pleasure, and a good time for family and friends to make unforgettable memories. To top it off – the fireworks on the first night is something worth hanging around a lil’ longer for.
You can’t beat the Washington County Fair for a fun time! It has everything with country charm… right down to all the tasty home made food in well cared for booths, top-notch Country Music with an awesome sitting area, antiques, art etc. exhibit buildings to view, farm animals, tractors with ongoing events and contests of every sort. There is much to see and do with plenty of shade areas, and seating to rest your feet. No parking fees, an ok ticket price. Traffic in and out moves pretty well too!
