COVID 19 UPDATE
The Washington County Fair has been closely monitoring guidance from state officials, up to and including the governors announcement today with regard to festivals and other large events scheduled this summer. Based on that guidance, it is with great sadness that we announce that for the first time in 54 years, the Washington County Fair is being cancelled.
The Fair Committee was working hard to deliver another amazing fair, but with the safety of our attendees, 4-H and FFA youth, vendors and volunteers in mind, we know this is the best decision for all involved. The Fair Committee is working on innovative ways to provide virtual entertainment and contests during the time frame the fair was scheduled to run, as well as find ways to support the various not-for-profit organizations and vendors who typically rely on income generated by their booths during the week of Fair. More details to come in the following weeks. In the meantime, please stay safe and know we will miss you all in 2020, but are looking forward to coming together again August 11-15th, 2021.
