The proceeds generate at the Washington County Fair allows the South County Masonic Center and Charity Lodge to support the community. We have been giving scholarships to students of the Chariho school system for the last 23 years. It also allows us to support of charitable organizations in the community such as Johnny Cake Centers and the Domestic Violence Resource Center of South County among other that have been supported in our years at the fair.

The profits from the Washington County Fair Booth enable scouts to attend Camp Yawgoo Scout Reservation for one week every July. The scouts spend a week camping in Adirondacks and tents. They have the opportunity to earn numerous badges and participate in friendly competition between troops from all over! After a week of fun, friendship and adventure the scouts come home as exhausted as they are excited!
